Zotero and Windows 8 RT

If this has been discussed, sorry..

If not, will there be a Win 8 RT version of Zotero???

    This is unlikely to happen. Windows RT does not support the programming interfaces that Zotero uses. Options for javascript apps are limited on RT, so Zotero would probably need to be ported to a different programming language (C# )as well.

    A more likely option to happen is a third party implementation of Zotero client (like Zandy for Android and ZotPad for iOS)

    I hoped this wouldn't be the answer I'd find. Zotero is fantastic and it's a shame it can't somehow make its way to an RT machine.

    you can use the bookmarklet on RT
    http://www.zotero.org/downloadbookmarklet
    and obviously you can use the mobile site, so you have basic functionality, jut not full Zotero.
