Compatability with MS Word

Being a newbee I do not see how to import into the Reference Manager bibliography. I can import with the add-in but there is not compatability with any citations created in MS Word. This is important as I must work with multiple authors to create a document and coordination with references are critical.

    Just to clarify, are you trying to export from Zotero to Reference Manager, or are you trying to collaboratively write a document in word where each author uses a different reference management tool?

    If you just want to export to Reference Manager you should export as BibTeX or RIS and then import that file into Reference Manager.

    If you are trying to collaboratively write a document where each author is using a different reference management platform you will want to insert references as rich text, or flatten the fields in the document before you share it.
