change folder of a paper

hi together,

i have a question according to the belonging of a paper to a certain folder. my problem is that i switched a paper from one folder to another but it still appears at the old folder. if i then delete the paper in the old folder it is totally deleted. that means also in the new folder. how can i then delete a paper just from one folder without deleting it in every other folder?

    If you right-click the item in one collection (which is a more accurate term than folder), you will see 2 options (among others, obviously).

    1. Remove item from collection. This will do just that. It removes an item from that collection only. It does not remove it from other collections, nor does it delete it from your library.

    2. Move item to trash. This option will not only delete the item from this collection, but also all other collections it is in, as well as deleting it from your library. You should get a confirm dialogue on this. (You can also retrieve it from the trash if it was a mistake).

    In addition to what arggem says, if you're looking at an item in a collection and just press "delete" on your keyboard, you're removing it from the collection (i.e. arggem's 1.), not deleting it from your library.
