Upgrade StorageCannot Relocate Data Storage Location
I use standalone on win7. The default storage location is in my OS drive which is not very spacious. I tried to customize the location elsewhere, however every time I restart Zotero it still syncs all my data to the default location. Could someone please tell me how to relocate the storage location?

adamsmithcould you provide more details? You customized to location to where? how? What does "syncs all my data to the default location" mean exactly?

HaoWuI customised data directory to a folder named "Storage" in E drive in the Advanced pane of the Zotero Preferences. And then it says Zotero needs to be restarted in order to work and reminds me to manually move previous data to the new folder. I cut the whole folder called Zotero under AppData\Roaming to the new location. However when I restart Zotero, everything is just back to the very beginning -- language back to my OS language, all references/attached files gone and syncing automatically recreating the default directory C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\Zotero\Profiles\<randomstring>\zotero and puts all the data in there.
