File access with Zotero Group

Hi,

I'm using a Zotero Group and I would like to limit the access of file downloading (like PDF files) only for the group admins (file stored on Zotero File Storage).

When I try with the group settings : File Editing - Only group admins (Who can work with files stored in the group? Public Open groups cannot have file storage enabled), it doesn't work, all members can view or download the PDF file.

I would like that the members can see the existence of the file but don't have access to this one, only the admins can view or download.

Any idea??

    This isn't possible. Groups assume that you want to share at least read access for everything with all members.

    Thanks for your response. It's a pity that we cannot choose different access for different types of members...

    In a public, closed membership group, though, members can view files and non-members cannot (but can still view the library online, just not sync it).
