Lost Word Plugins

I have lost my Zotero icons for MSWord 2003, though when I look at my Preferences\Cite\ it says that they have installed. I have tried to reinstall but with no success. Does anyone have an idea as to how I can recover them? Thanks.

    What happens?

    You can open the Word Startup folder, the path for which is shown in the Templates and Add-ins dialog in Word, to see if Zotero.dot is present. The Zotero toolbar might also just be hidden (View -> Toolbars).

    The box was not checked. MSWord informs me that Zotero caused a serious error the last time it was opened. I suspect it might be a problem arising from failed saves which leave behind a file with names like this ~WRL0654

    In any case, I've resurrected, for now, the Zotero icons in MSWord. Again Thanks.
