Trouble with Galegroup Translator

Hello all,
I was collecting citations from Gale's Legal Trac this morning without a problem. I was using the multiple save option from a set of search results. I am no longer getting that option. I can save individual items but not groups of items.

Another minor problem this morning is that that option was only available from the first set of screen results. When I moved to page 2 the folder icon disappeared. This might be related.

And the weirder thing is this is happening on both Chrome (30.0.1599.66) and Firefox (23.0.1).

Any thoughts on how I can fix this?

  • So this is the Galegroup translator by the way.
  • @freemoth, a recent Galegroup translator update may have broken this. I reverted back to the previous version. Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now, refresh the page, and see if it fixes it. Could you post a screenshot of the search results page and individual item page for LegalTrac? I don't have access to that particular Gale database, but it's probably similar to some of their others. You can post the screenshot on imgur.com and link to it here.

    @adamsmith, any idea if Northwestern has access to LegalTrac (if you're not in the law school)
  • Nvm, I found it. No need for screenshots.
  • I don't have access through either NU or CU Boulder, unfortunately.
  • @aurimas thanks for checking; I've updated translators but still having problems; I'm at home now and get an error that directs me to the 'known translator issues' page; works fine for single items, but I need to capture sets for what I'm working on;

    wonder if there are any tweeks in the javascript that can be made?
  • LegalTrac should be fixed as well as several other Gale databases.

    Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now
