Default Save Locations?

Hi,

On the Zotero Standalone with the plugin, the items are by default saved to whichever folder is open in the desktop app. Is there any way to get a default save location (i.e. set a folder 'New')?

    You're talking about Collections, they are not folders. Collections are like playlists: if you have the same item in two collections, it is still only one item in Zotero.

    Indeed, new items are placed in the selected collection. AFAIK, it's not possible to change that.

    But you can create a saved search for newly added items ("Date added" "is in the latest" … "days/months").
