Weird flashing Word artefacts and scrolling when editing footnotes
This is kind of hard to describe, but when my cursor is in the footnotes (whether or not adjacent to a cite field), I get these weird black flashing artefacts just outside the page region (for a split-second) at random intervals. If I try to scroll down a little, it jumps back to the same position (even if when I scroll down, the cursor is still on my screen). Anyone experienced this?
My guess is it is something to do with scanning for changes. Is there any way to only have Zotero update citations when I add/edit, or manually refresh? It is extremely irritating..
Edit: Windows 7, latest Zotero, Word 2010 Pro.
Edit2: reinstalling Word plugin makes no difference.

adamsmithZotero doesn't do any scanning (or interact at all with the Word document) unless you click a plugin button. Are you sure this isn't just a Word issue?
