problem with tag selector in Mac version

The tag selector pane does not scroll or resize on my mac. When I have a couple of items in it, the tags continue to the right and I cannot view them all, even if I resize the tag selector window. As I use tags a lot, this is really cumbersome - I have to search for the tag name to find it.

The resize-problem depends on the text size setting in the preferences. When text is set to "large", the tag selector has no scroll bar, when set to medium, the scroll bar only appears when the window has a certain size.

I also noticed that the tag selector needs a long time to display new tags.

Another issue is that it always displays all tags, even if the "display all tags" option is unchecked.

Apart from these issues, Zotero is a wonderful piece of software and continues to amaze me: Importing is so much faster than in commercial packages!

    For you issues with scrolling see these two threads. http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/341/ and http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/3631/. There is a strong chance that you have a few tags that are really long.

    Are you sure that all your tags are always displayed? Whenever you are in a collection you should see all the tags on any of the items within that collection. So, for example, when your looking in "My Library" you will see all your tags. To test this create a new collection, don't put anything in it and click on it. Do you see any tags?

    ok, the tag behaviour is normal - it display all tags of a collection, as it should, apparantly.

    Thanks for the link to the discussions - I deleted tags that are too long and now it works better, although I am looking forward for a new version where even long tags are displayed correctly.
