BibTeX export: @incollection uses editor rather than author [solved]
When eporting a book section to BibTeX, Zotero creates the BibTeX key with the book editor rather than the chapter author. For an @incollection item, it would seem more natural to use the chapter author (if available) rather than the book editor.

noksagtThe translator uses the first "creator" for the key. You can organize your creator list so that authors are listed first.

adamsmith...by clicking on the label (i.e. "Editor" "Author" etc. and selecting "move up" or "move down" from the context menu).
