Saved items not in Library

I tried saving several items through the JSTOR database using Safari and a pop-up said that it saved the item. However, when I went into my Zotero, none of those items appeared in my library.
  • Depending on whether Zotero Standalone was open they'd have saved either to Standalone or to your library online at zotero.org (My Library button at the top left of this page).
  • I had Zotero Standalone open but they didn't save there and they aren't appearing on my account at zotero.org. Any other possibilities?
  • not really, no. You sure you've looked everywhere? Checked in "My Library" and sorted by date added in the middle panel?
Do you remember in the "Saving" bubble - where the titles of the items listed? If so, they were almost certainly saved somewhere.
  • In Safari, open Zotero Preferences (right-click anywhere on a webpage and select “Zotero Preferences…”). In the General tab under Zotero Standalone, what does it say?
  • It says: "Zotero Standalone is currently available"

And what about adamsmith's question? When you click the URL bar icon, where does it say that the items are being saved (it would be at the top of the Zotero pop-up)?

Edit: also, please provide a Debug ID from Zotero Standalone for an attempt to save an item.

And you don't have anything odd with your setup, like Zotero Standalone and Zotero for Firefox in server mode or MLZ in Firefox running at the same time? (if you don't know what that means, then you probably don't)
