Word Citation Editing on another computer

Hey,

I want to use Zotero on two computers. I finally could manage to sync the zotero library between the computers.

When I open my word-file, however, and I want to insert a citation it I am asked to choose a citation style as I would start a new document.

I am scared about not contributing to the same bibliography, when choosing a new (the same) citation style.

How can I edit the same document on two computers?

    this should just work. If you get the message about choosing a citation style, that suggests something has gone wrong with the doc, i.e. somehow its Zotero connection is broken. Does it still work on the original computer?

    On the original computer it perfectly works.

    But I do not want to destroy anything..

    what Word versions are you using on the respective computers?

    Computer where it works: 2013. Computer where it doesn't work 2010

    ah actually - are you sure you have the citation style used on the original computer installed on the new computer? If you didn't, Zotero would ask you to select one.
