Add Publisher to Journal Article Type

I'd like to make a case for adding Publisher as a field to the Journal Article Type. Although I realize that it may not be included in many citation styles (e.g., APA, CMOS), in many instances it's necessary. Example: I use Journal Article Type for newsletter references.* Do you have any idea how many newsletters are titled "Member News"? Without the publisher, it's impossible to determine which "Member News" is being cited. So far I've been prefixing the newsletter title with the name of the publisher (e.g., "XYZ Society Member News"), but that makes for an incorrect citation. Please consider adding this already-existing field to Journal Article. It would not be necessary, or even desirable, to add the field to any citation styles. Just adding it the the reference type would clear up confusion.

(*Some have suggested using Newspaper Type for newsletters, but Newspaper does not include volume and issue number, which are essential for regularly issued newsletters.)
