Vancouver superscript bracket

Hi there,

I'm working on a document that uses Vancouver style but needs to be superscript with round and not square brackets within the text. Can anyone help? I've tried searching on Zotero but no such luck yet.

This is the requirement for the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research. One of the top bone science journal out there.

The style for JBMR has been available on zotero.org/styles since June
