Firefox bookmarks to Zotero items?

Does installing Zotero for FireFox appears to create a library out of all Firefox bookmarks. Is that correct?
Is it possible to undo this and leave the current bookmarks out of Zotero's My Library?

    No, it doesn't do anything with your Firefox bookmarks.

    OK, so the items in My Library must have been there in the stand-alone version. Somehow I didn't remember putting them there.
