Creating records from Compendex misses abbreviated Journal name
When I create a record of an item found through Compendex, the abbreviated journal name field is blank. I am using Zotero with Firefox on Windows 7.

I am going through my University proxy, so the URL may not work copy-paste. The URL is:
http://www.engineeringvillage.com.prox.lib.ncsu.edu/search/doc/detailed.url?SEARCHID=Mff218bf140487b2273M28a4prod3con1&pageType=quickSearch&CID=quickSearchDetailedFormat&DOCINDEX=1&database=1&format=quickSearchDetailedFormat&tagscope=&displayPagination=yes
The article in that URL is:
Johnson, K. C., T. D. Durbin, H. Jung, D. R. Cocker, D. Bishnu, and R. Giannelli. Quantifying In-Use PM Measurements for Heavy Duty Diesel Vehicles. Environmental Science & Technology, Vol. 45, No. 14, Jul. 2011, pp. 6073–6079.
This is just an example and any item saved through Compendex/Engineering Village will not write the journal abbreviation field.
Now that you mention, I notice Zotero does abbreviate journal name when using the Word plugin. So, the issue is less serious than I thought but if it can be fixed, that'll be even better. I did not notice the Word plugin abbreviation before because I was creating bibliography for a format where abbreviated journal name is not mandatory.
IMP: I've given the above example from a record I had saved a couple weeks ago. I just tried replicating it and Zotero refuses to even create an item from Engineering Village. The error I get is "Could Not Save Item: An error occurred while saving this item. Check Known Translator Issues for more information."
I tried a few articles and had the same error for each. I am able to create records through Web of Science/Web of Knowledge database. I've never had an problem with Engineering Village in last 2 years. Not sure why I am seeing that error today. I should probably create a separate thread for this issue but wanted to mention it here in any case.
