Items Not Showing Up in Word Bibliography

I am new to Zotero, but a longtime veteran of MS Word back to DOS days in the 1980s. I have searched the forms, but that of course, does not mean this has not been discussed before. I have three items not showing up in my bibliography. The missing items are a dictionary entry, a book and a journal article. I am syncing the library online. I have about 70 items in my bibliography and only three are not showing up. I am using Word from Office 2011 with all updates on the current version of Mountain Lion. The Zotero toolbar works fine. I appreciate any help. Thanks.
  • I assume that you have verified that the missing entries are in the text and that they are not simply showing up in bibliography out of order. I also assume that you tried refreshing the bibliography.

Couple things to try would be to switch to a different style and switch back, try adding one of the missing entries into text (even if they are already there), remove the entries from text and adding them back in, copy everything to a new word document. There are more things to try, but this would be a good start.
  • When shortening the document I removed citations for the three authors. Duh! Two I added back as non-cited entries by editing the bibliography through the Word toolbar. The third did not show up in the list to allow me to add it back in. This one has a Greek language title. Could that be the issue here?
  • Thanks for your help, aurimas.
  • That shouldn't be the problem. Could you export that entry to Zotero RDF and post it here? Also make sure you are looking in the correct (sub-) collection.

I played around with it some and the Greek title item showed up in the list and is now in the bibliography. I have no idea what changed. Learning curve stuff for me. Thanks again, aurimas. BTW. I normally use LaTeX and am trying out Zotero to collect information for BibTeX. So far it works well for collecting citations, I have yet to export to BibTeX. Thanks for your help.
