Installation of zotero 4.0 to firefox 16.0.1

I have tried to install zotero soft to my Firefox Web browser (firefox 16.0.1)but, it has proved impossible!The browser show this message "zotero (zotero 4.0)could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 16.0.1"!!! What do I do? I really need the software for my school work!

    Update your FF to version 22.

    Also, download Zotero from the Zotero site, not from the FF add-on site. The current Zotero is 4.0.9.

    FF is short for FireFox.

    Earlier this year, Firefox made changes that broke the compatibility with many plug-ins. Plug-ins needed to be changed to work with the new FF system. The new systems are not backwards compatible.

    Am using Ubuntu One, which has libreOffice 3!Would you mind advising on the Zotero version to use?

    Zotero 4.0.9 works with any LibreOffice version.
    But it also sounds like you don't have Ubuntu set up properly (there is no operating system called "Ubuntu One" - the version number should be something like 12.04 - you should be able to find it by clicking on the shut-down symbol at the top right and then "About this Computer".)
    No working Ubuntu system would let you use an outdated Firefox version.
