word crashes after trying to insert citation

dear zotero team,

i'm currently writing in my dissertation in word and i'm using zotero for the citations. So far everything worked just perfectly. But today, when i tried to insert a new citation word suddently crashes. The document is now 108 pages long and i noticed, that when i try to insert a citation at the first page, there is no problem. And other files are also working. But when i try to add a citation in the middle then word crashes, displaying: "An error ocurred while updating your document... error of server.".
(Sorry my english might not be the best, i'm from switzerland).

Is it possible that my document is too large, or what could be the reason?
