No search results

The Other 90
Hello,

I have installed Zotero on a Mac using Chrome as a browser.
After typing possible author names, years and titles in Zotero the results window remains empty. It does find results via ISBN or Doi numbers.

Furthermore, it seems that my username and password are not accepted by the synchronisation menu. Although I am sure to have entered the right details.

Can anyone help? Unfortunately I can't provide you with an error-report.

    Are you sure you've added these items to your library (before) ?

    I think you're misunderstanding the search function - that's for items that you've already imported. Other than, say, EndNote, Zotero doesn't connect to databases through its own interface - you go through the databases native interface in your browser and import to Zotero from there.

    Start a separate thread on your sync issue and provide an error report ID after getting an error:

    Aha. I had the impression that with quick search publications from basically everywhere can be accessed.

    So apparently it's only used for items stored in one specific library or that you have already stored in your personal bibliography. Correct me if I'm wrong..

    I did not add any articles yet, so it seems you're right.
