Zotero button

The Zotero button has disappeared. My library is intact, but there is no button in the Firefox window. When investigating the account, I noticed that my storage was full, so I upgraded, then downloaded Zotero for Firefox, quit/reopened browser, but still no button. What should I do?

    Hi,

    I have the same problem, dragging for a few weeks. I work with Firefox 25.0a1 and have at numerous occasions update Z Standalone and the plugins for firefox. Currently Zotero 4.0.8.

    The button in the URL bar is completely unstable with my configuration. It will only appear once when I restart everything after a new installation of everything, and then, as soon as I open standalone or MS Word, it disappears forever.

    This is a recurrent problem for a few weeks now and it 's very frustrating. No error message. I use it only with Pubmed and published websites and it does not work at all anymore.
    Any idea? I did run through all the threads on this forum dealing with this pb and have not been able to fix it.

    not the same issue, so for any follow-ups, please start a new thread, but in your case this basically comes down to alpha-software --> alpha experience:
    Zotero devs make sure it works consistently and reliable with the latest stable Firefox release (i.e. 22 at the moment). If you're running on the Firefox Aurora release channel you'll frequently experience problems with Zotero (same is true for the beta channel). The purpose of those release channels is among other things to allow add-on developers time to assure compatibility.

    The branch XPI is usually compatible with Aurora, although sometimes you'll need the trunk XPI, and it will not necessarily be as stable as released versions.
