Zotero app + library missing after Firefox update

Dear Zotero users,

Recently my Firefox updated automatically and erased the Zotero app as well as all my data.

Fortunately Firefox created a back-up folder named "Old Firefox-data" containing a Zotero map.

But here's the catch, how do I upload the data contained in that folder? I can't find a library or any sort, I'm completely clueless at the moment..

I hope you guys can help me out.

Best regards,

Nick van der Meulen

I had the same thing happen to me. I printed the directions for restoring Zotero library from a backup and overwriting synced changes. I put the temporary folders for 'storage' and zotero.sqlite into a temporary folder on the desktop. When I tried to copy them into the active data directory, I couldn't figure out how to do that. Actually, I couldn't find anything that said active data directory. I think I'm almost there, but I just can't seem to figure out the final step.

    Thanks for your help,

The active data directory appears when you click “Show Data Directory” in the Advanced pane of the Zotero preferences.
