zotero unable to save items from many websites
Hi,
I've been having difficulties saving items to zotero from several different databases and journal sites (Wiley, Thompson Reuters, Elsevier, and Google Scholar).
When I click the zotero icon in my browser, the dialog bog says 'Saving to ...' for about 30 seconds, but nothing gets saved to my library.
I'm running zotero 4.08 on Firefox 22 for mac. The problem occurs whether or not I've disabled my other add-ons.
Does anyone know what might be wrong?
Thanks,
Andrew

It looks like you're not receiving the correct BibTeX response from Google Scholar.
What happens if you disable your system proxy and restart Firefox? (It doesn't look like the proxy should actually interfere with Google Scholar, but it's worth a try.)
It works when I set Firefox to remember history. The proxy status doesn't seem to affect it.
It seems that I have to change this Firefox setting to remember history before each restart. Is there a global setting I could change for it to always remember what it needs to for zotero?
Andrew
You can try resetting Firefox, but you'll need to reinstall Zotero afterward, and for good measure you should make sure you have a backup of your Zotero data directory—I'm not sure if that directory is moved by the reset process.
