Zotero not appearing in browser window

Zotero is not appearing in the Firefox browser window (lower right corner). It was there yesterday. I downloaded zotero and restarted my browser in case it was the FF20/Z4.0 problem. It still isn't there. It is there in the extensions part of the add-ons menu in firefox.

    The book still appears in the url address bar when I'm on a library webpage and it says I downloaded the book to my library, but there's no way to open zotero. I made sure that the window wasn't larger than my screen by making the window smaller, but the zotero button still wasn't there.

    I am having the same problem, but it is not listed in my extensions either. I just downloaded it, and checked to make sure my firefox is up to date, but it is still not in the extensions.

    if it's not listed as an extension you have not successfully installed Zotero for Firefox. Do you get prompted to install by Firefox?

    ho installato zotero 4.0 su chrome ma non riesco a vedere l'icona e non parte il programma come posso fare? grazie!

    If you want to run Zotero in Chrome, you need to install both Zotero Standalone _and_ the Zotero Chrome extension. Have you?
