Importing zotero library into Endnote X

I have tried several times importing my zotero library into endnote X. I have tried exporting the zotero library both as an RIS file and Refer/BibIX. After selecting import from Endnote file menu, nothing appears in endnote library...any suggestions?

    I figured it out...turns out I needed to select Reference Manager (RIS) as my import option in Endnote...Linked files (e.g., pdf) don't seem to have come over into endnote library...is there a way to bring them over? Thanks.

    Hi Meisel. EndNote X doesn't have the facility to bring pdf's or other files in automatically. You will have to link them to the appropriate record singly.
