Translator for American Meteorology Society journals

Hi, I'm new in Zotero, and I'm still getting used to it. I have noticed that I can not grab references from AMS journals. If I want to get for example this reference (I also have access to the pdf from my IP):

http://journals.ametsoc.org/doi/abs/10.1175/JCLI-D-12-00539.1?af=R

I get the message:

"Saving Item…
An error occurred while saving this item. Check Known Translator Issues for more information."

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Should I have to write my own translator from scratch?

    works for me. Are you using Zotero or Standalone (which browser)?
    What do you see when you're hovering over the URL bar icon?

    Hi, thanks for the fast reply. I'm using Standalone with Chrome. When I hover the icon, I see "Save to Zotero (DOI)"

    However you are right, I have tried the Firefox extension and this way I'm able to capture the citation (although I do not get automatically the pdf).

    Is it normal that both versions behaves so differently?

    generally you'd see the same results, but we're having some problems with add pages in the Chrome connector. That explains the failure here, we'll hopefully have a general fix for that in place soon.

    (at least I think that's what's going on. If aurimas or Simon could double-check that's be great)

    Actually this is a different error. I will fix this.

    Should be fixed now. You will need to update your translators in Chrome (Extensions -> Zotero Connector Options (link) -> Advanced -> Update Translators) and refresh the page.
