Unable to get articles into my standalone zotero; cannot find sensing icon on top right corner

What might have happened? Do you think my free strorage has been exceeded? I am stalled and cannot do a thing. How can I move foreward?
  • The guys here usually jump on things, but I'll chip in.

You can check your storage on the cloud computer by hitting the blue "Upgrade Storage" button". That will tell you how much storage you have used.

This wouldn't have anything to do with file storage. You can add an unlimited number of items irrespective of your file storage quota.
  • This is my storage situation
    Quota - 300 MB
Current Usage My Library 0 MB Total 0 MB 0.0%
Have also updated - chrome and plug in
Not picking up from amzon.com. I have always picked up books from there
    not resolved
  • Again, this isn't related to storage.

Follow my link and the troubleshooting instructions linked from there. We can't tell you anything else until you go through all of those steps and provide the necessary information.
  • Hey Dan I have done everything that is along the way in the link and sitll don't see the icon on google scholar to save documents.
  • You haven't done everything, or you'd be providing more information.
  • Dan, I am not sure what you want of me as i don't have all these tech exp. but the icon is still not showing after I have done the following:
    installed z connector
    version updated 4.08
lateest translator update = update now done
I must be having translator problem since it no icon found with Amzon or Google scholar
have gone through the troubleshooting to extent my tech exp allows
  • If you followed all the steps, then you got to the last step on this page: http://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues

That step asks you to provide quite a bit of information, including a Report ID
  • I may be using a wrong term; the document icon just does not show at all. How can I do the rest if that does not appear? Let me know if any other way please.
  • If none of these solutions solve your problem, please make a new thread in the Site Translators category (or use an existing thread if you've already created one) and provide the URL of a page that isn't working (even if none are), a Report ID from after attempting to save (if you're trying to save from Chrome or Safari, follow the browser-specific Report ID instructions rather than the instructions for Zotero Standalone), and any other relevant information (operating system, browser and version, Zotero version, etc.). Please mention if you are using Zotero for Firefox or Zotero Standalone when reporting a translator issue. Also, if possible, please include the name of the translator from step 6.
Even without an icon, you can provide:
    1. URL of a page where the icon does not appear but should

    2. Report ID from trying to refresh the page (I'm sorry, this was not stated in that step, I will reword)

    3. operating system, browser and version, Zotero version, etc. (you provided most of this above)

    4. mention if you are using Zotero for Firefox or Zotero Standalone (we can probably guess that it's Zotero Standalone, but this is not 100% clear)
