Add Attachment / Attach link to Current Page not working

I'm working in the latest version of Zotero standalone (4.0.8) which I downloaded a few days ago. I'm a new user and quickly made new BFF.

I have the latest version of Firefox (20.0.1)

I select item, right click and select "Add Attachment / Attach link to Current Page". nothing happens...

I expected to get a link to the currently open tab in Firefox. I only have one browser window open.

Also tried with one window open in Chrome. Same result.

I can create a link manually by cut and pasting URL.

Any idea why this isn't working?

"Add Attachment / Attach Snapshot of Current Page" isn't working either.

I'm confused. If you're doing this is Zotero Standalone, you shouldn't see those menu options at all...

(You can create a web page item with a snapshot from a connector by right-clicking on the page background, though.)

I can do this manually. It really makes sense that "Stand Alone" should not have these options. I have 5 Browser windows open. For which is Zotero supposed to make a link?

Not sure what you mean. Again, those options shouldn't be there for Standalone—just in Zotero for Firefox—and they're not for me. (Or are you just agreeing that those options don't make sense?) Can you take a screenshot, post it somewhere (Dropbox, imageshack.us, etc.), and provide a link?

But if you have a connector installed you can take a snapshot via the right-click menu on a web page.

Yes, I agree that the options don't make sense as choices for Zotero stand alone. I didn't think to mention that I did install Zotfile.

Disable ZotFile and see if it still happens. Those shouldn't be there.

Disabled Zotfile, restarted Zotero. Same result.

I can't reproduce this on OS X or Windows.

I see those options on Windows 7 actually.
