'There was an error starting Zotero"

When I open Firefox, I cannot access properly to Zotero, I find the sentence : "there was an error starting Zotero", and cannot find the archives I made.
To start and restart Zotero does not change anything. I use a Mac (PS 10.4.8) and Firefox 2.0.1
The preferences are alos forgotten.

    All your data is still there—it's just not showing up.

    Try installing this patched version of 1.0.0b3.r1 over your current version of Zotero.

    If that doesn't do the trick, please follow the steps in the Advanced Instructions section of the Reporting Bugs page and let us know what errors you're getting. That should give us enough info to fix the problem.

    That was the solution. The patch did the trick. Thank you very much.
    I also use Minefield, the next version of Firefox. It would be nice if Zotero was compatible with this beautifil browser. I hope it happens soon.
    Oh! by the way, I usually use Camino, which I prefer to Firefox (quicker…) it's Zotero that makes me use Firefox. I understand it would be almost impossible to have Firefox extensions on Camino. If that's true, it's a pity.

    There's an open ticket for Minefield compatibility that's targeted for 1.0 Final, but that'll probably get pushed back. We're probably not going to have a chance to work on it anytime soon, and, since Minefield is alpha, it could break at any time. If someone wants to work on fixing the current incompatibilities, we'd welcome patches.

    As for a Camino version of Zotero, while it would indeed be a great thing, it is, unfortunately, impossible.
