Avira Antivirus flags Zotero activity

    To be fair, the paper you were indexing is entitled "The Ghost in the Browser: Analysis of Web-based Malware"...

    .zotero-ft-cache is just a full-text cache of the PDF—it contains whatever text is in the PDF. The PDF in question contains examples of actual HTML malware, so when those examples are converted to plain text, they're basically indistinguishable from the malware itself.

    There's not really any reason to report this to Avira, since it was essentially correct. Just click Ignore for that file.
