sync error

After some tag-editing and duplicate merging, I got a failed sync accompanied by the following error message:

Uploaded data not well-formed (Report ID: 48c72d1612)

Anyone know how to resolve this?

    Sorry, i think i had the wrong report ID. here's the other:

    There seems to be a bug in 4.0.8 that's causing this, but if you create and delete a tag (by right-clicking on it in the tag selector) before syncing, this should go away.

    I created a tag and deleted it but still unsuccessful sync. Report ID 28509245.

    What happens if you type about:config into the Firefox address bar, search for extensions.zotero.purge.tags, double-click it to set it to true, and then sync?

    aha--that did it, Dan, thanks.

    Should I now set the extensions.zotero.purge.tags back to False, or leave it as is?

    If that worked, it will have already been set to false. I'll look into why empty tags aren't being purged properly.
