zotero wont start at all

Hi! I had zotero on a usb flash memory. And suddenly, it wont start at all: there is a small yellow flag written on zotero in the very bottom left of my screen... I tried copying zotero directories to firefox that is on my hard drive. Same error...In firefox, under tools, I got that error:
Erreur : uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80520010 (NS_ERROR_FILE_NO_DEVICE_SPACE) [mozIStorageService.openDatabase]" nsresult: "0x80520010 (NS_ERROR_FILE_NO_DEVICE_SPACE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/db.js :: anonymous :: line 799" data: no]

Any help would be very appreciated!!!
  • Precision: when i try to open zotero, I got the following message :
    [application Javascript]
    Une erreur s'est produite lors du démarrage de Zotero.

    It means : an error occured at the start of zotero.

    In my usb flash memory, I have another error under tools of firefox:
    Erreur : uncaught exception: script.aculo.us requires the Prototype JavaScript framework >= 1.4.0

    So I am lost!
  • It would appear you're out of disk space on the flash drive.

    You shouldn't get that message running Firefox off your hard drive, however, unless Firefox there is set to use the flash drive as a custom data directory location...
  • It should not be that reason: I got still 191 MB free on my flash drive.
    And I reinstall firefox on my hard drive w/o any references to my flash drive...

    Any other idea?
  • How big is the zotero.sqlite file?

    Reinstalling Firefox alone doesn't clear the settings. Are you sure the hard drive version was set to use the default data directory location in the Advanced pane of the Zotero prefs after copying the files from the flash drive?

    Also, are you sure it's exactly the same error? For each version (if you're still getting the yellow triangle on both), restart Firefox and send in an error report using Report Errors, and post the two ids here saying which is which.

    Please also post the first ten lines of debug output when starting each.
