Alphabetical Order of Citations in the Text
Hello,
sometimes, multiple citations are not ordered alphabetically, but in the order I selected the sources. But Zotero should always put the multiple citations in alphabetical order, no matter of the order the sources have been selected. What could be the problem?
Thanks a lot in advance
Ferdinand

adamsmithIt depends on the citation style. Which are you using?

Ferdinand WenzlaffI use Chicago Manual Style - I should have said more explicitly, that the problem occurs sometimes within one document, while the majority of the citations are OK. Thanks in advance!

fbennettChicago author-date style does not sort citations. They should always be rendered in entry order. If they are sorting that would be a problem, given the rules of the style.

Ferdinand WenzlaffIndeed, changing the style was the simple solution! Thanks!
