I got an error message as following ....

First of all, it appeared that I've lost all my references with attachments stored in my zotero library since I installed Firefox 3.

While I was trying to figure out how to restore the loss, I tried to install "Sync Preview" but it didn't work. Meanwhile, the following is the error message that I got along with the report ID: "1868102918". I really need help!!

The error massage is following below.

You need to use the DB Repair Tool. You most likely have corruption left over from Firefox 2, which had database instability issues.

I too have had a problem installing Sync Preview. I downloaded the SyncPreview add-on (having first created a new profile and copied my database to that as per the instructions). I then restarted Firefox (3.0.1) again following instructions, and immediately got a message saying that the database needed upgrading. I clicked to start that process, and the upgrade started. After about 15 or 20 minutes,Firefox appeared to crash, and I got an error message with a report ID "688414707". The Zotero icon in the bottom panel of the Firefox window has an accident triangle over the word Zotero, and a message appears saying simply that there was an error starting Zotero.
What can I do to get things running correctly please?

algemmell: This isn't related to the above issue, but your upgrade error is a known issue that has been fixed on the trunk.

As for the startup error you're getting now, start a new thread and post debug output, and we'll take a look.
