sync crashes

error report ID: 1943647232

When trying to sync I get asked to choose between different versions of an entry (local, remote, merged). I do the choosing but after clicking the final "next" I get this error.

I am using the the standalone version 4.03 on a Windows 7 machine with Google Chrome.

  • I doubt it'll make a difference, but you should update to 4.0.4 which came out last night.
  • just did ... and no, as you expected, it doesn't make a difference.

  • There are no relevant errors in there. What's the actual error message you're getting?
  • Source item for keyed source doesn't exist in Zotero.Item.getSource() (BC38I7TP)

Additional info: I have to go through the choosing process twice before I get the error

This shouldn't happen, but as a workaround, you can paste BC38I7TP into the quick search bar to see the item in question. Deleting that and emptying the trash might help. If you then get a conflict about that item, choose the local, deleted version.
  • Or maybe try its child attachment first: EBC86TM9
