Work IT thinks *.s3.amazonaws.com/ is a malicious website

a few days ago my zotero sync stopped working for attachments at work. I thought there was some weird bug and forced a resync with all my files from the zotero server. However this didn't help. When clicking on new attachments I am sent directly to the location on the web in which I found them.

When I try to access any attachment (.pdf) from the zotero website I am redircted by our instutitions IT to a page that states
URL: *.s3.amazonaws.com/
Category: Malicious Websites

Did Zotero recently change their storage provider or do I just need to take this up with IT?

    s3.amazonaws.com is the Amazon storage service used by a large number of services that run on the Amazon cloud. Your work IT should probably not block the domain.

    Zotero has used the Amazon service for a long time, there has not been any recent changes.
