How do you get Zotero to NOT be the default? (OR, what do I do to get citations sent to EndNote now

The error message I get says to go to Preferences to change something (that I hope is what needs to be changed), but I cannot find any "Preferences" link/button/etc. I've looked under Settings, and still cannot figure out how to get my citations to load into EndNote rather than Zotero. How do I get back to where *I* get to choose where the citations will go? This has happened in both ACS and Wiley now.

    Within Zotero for Firefox under the General Setting of the Gear menu/ Pregerences you should untick "Use Zotero for downloaded RIS/Refer files.

    Otherwise:

    This not directly controlled by Zotero settings but through your browser and operating system. Tell us what you use and someone will help you right away.

    I am presuming that your mean downloading by clicking on "Download to EndNote" of "Download RIS". If you click on the URL address bar icon you are requesting things to be brought into Zotero.

    If you're using Zotero for Firefox - this is determined by "Use Zotero for Downloaded RIS/Refer" files in the General tab of the Zotero preferences:

    My edit crossed paths with your reply. I assumed that the request concerned the ZSA version because it is hard to overlook in the FF version. I added the comment concerning ZFF.
