Style Error: Drug and Alcohol Dependence
Hi Zotero folks.
There is an error in the style for Drug and Alcohol Dependence. The style guide is at
http://www.elsevier.com/journals/drug-and-alcohol-dependence/0376-8716/guide-for-authors
Here is the output I get from Zotero when I use it:
Bernstein, E., Bernstein, J., 2008. Effectiveness of alcohol screening and brief motivational intervention in the emergency department setting. Ann Emerg Med 51, 751–754.
There should be a period "." after the abbreviated journal name. I tried editing this, but I couldn't figure out how it worked.
Thanks,
- Pilar

adamsmithThe problem is your data in Zotero - abbreviations should include periods (i.e. this should be Ann. Emerg. Med. in Zotero's journalAbbr. field) in the style example the period only appears to be after the abbreviated journal name - it's actually part of the abbreviation and only appears that way because Drug and Alcohol aren't abbreviated.

psanjuanThanks. I will go ahead and put periods in. They aren't listed with periods in PubMed, so they didn't cut and paste that way. Good to know and an easy fix.
