I used to have zotero and l;oved it... but it has disappeared. Well the Icon has disappeared and there is nothing in the 'add ons' in the tools menu.
I keep downloading it in both firefox AND explorer but no icon appears in either so i assume the download failed?? I HAVE stopped and started my computer to no effect!
What is happening?

what exactly are you downloading in Firefox?

gives you a Standalone version and a Firefox version. What exactly do you do on that screen?

it has zotero standalone in my programs.

this is (the standalone)probably what I down loaded for the explorer search engine. then I down loaded the firefox one because I also use mozilla. But no icons are showing up in either mozilla or explorer

OK I just uninstalled Zotero standalone. Now as I try to download the firefox version it says that 'adobe reader cannot open this file'?? WTH???

Are you actually using Firefox to try to install it?

yes. I just used chrome this time and installed the standalone again. no icon.

OK! so I decided to download Zotero on my husbands computer and study from his PC! Guess what! the zotero downloaded....BUT NO ICON!!!!! I down loaded this last fortnight and the icon was there... why is this icon suddenly not working????
