Documents in foreign languages

Hi. I've been trying to add to my library some documents in Portuguese for which I have the ISBN, but unfortunately I always get a message saying: "Zotero could not find a record for the specified identifier. Please verify the identifier and try again"

The number of one of these documents is: ISBN 978-85-60755-48-6

Zotero isn't intended only for documents in English, right?

    Can you give an example of a database that has this ISBN registered? What Dan says that world cat does not know this ISBN code.

    If a book is not registered anywhere, it is not possible retrieve the data based on ISBN.

    Yeah I understood what Dan meant.

    I have encountered this problem so far with two publications from the brazilian government that I've used. Apparently the database where these two publications should be found is the one from the Brazilian ISBN agency: http://www.isbn.bn.br/pesquisa-no-cadastro-isbn

    One of the publications that wasn't found by Zotero, or in the world cat (ISBN 978-85-64695-08-5) I did find in this brazilian database, but ironically the other one (ISBN 978-85-60755-48-6) I didn't.

    I personally don't have an idea of how many databases are out there, but it would be nice if all of them would be included (if they aren't already)

    this would make ISBN retrieval much slower. I don't think we'll go much further than the current LoC and Worldcat unless a database provides us with a handy and fast API (like LoC does).
