Usernames vs. displayed names
I have seen numerous questions about changing usernames, and I understand that is not possible. I think the biggest reason that people want to change their usernames is that the username is displayed in many places, instead of using the Real Name from my profile.
I chose a username that I knew would be unique, assuming it would only be used for logging in. However, when I look on the website at an item in a Group Library under Added By, for example, it lists my username instead of my Real Name. Of course, nobody else in my group recognizes this username.
It would be great if every place that currently displays "username" would instead display my "Real Name".

Is there a way to change your username? Or to change display preference to "real name" as you suggest?
1. I made sure all of my references were synced to my desktop, the logged out of the old account and into the new account. It then had to upload all of my references to the new account. Nerve wracking but it worked.
2. All of the references that the old account had added to my shard group library still show up with the old name, which continues to confuse people, but at least going forward they will see the new account name.
3. There is still no way to display your Real Name in either the forums or in shared group libraries.
