uninstall on upgrade to libreoffice 3.6.5
troubleshooting tag 1250709506
I am running Windows 7 and had an installation of zotero working fine in libreoffice. Yesterday upgraded to libreoffice 3.6.5 and am running firefox 19 (though I am not sure when the upgrade to 9 happened, as I have automated upgrades running).
First indication of a problem came when I started up libreoffice today and found my toolbar for zotero was missing. Looked through the forums and then looked at my zotero for LO extension, 3.5.5, and saw it was listed as not installed.
Tried to reinstall a couple of times, but always end up getting a message that the install failed. Zotero still not running. Any tips?

femrichOkay, well I got to the instructions about cleaning up JRE (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50371#c15) and am stuck halfway through reading them again for the fifth time--they are completely befuddling. Will keep trying to figure them out, but if a more clear solution for that issue is available it would be really, really nice to see it.

femrichWell, I've worked on this for a couple of hours so far. If the docs are correct, the problem is confusion between the two versions of JRE on a x86 machine? Cannot get either the detailed (and confusing) or simple microsoft download instructions at the link above to work. Will try again tomorrow.
