continuing to what I was doing

I have done my work by Zotero but because of some problems I have to do it again. I need to add some new citations but it can not work properly and I can not continue my work, may be it is because I have changed my Microsoft software to windows 7.
How can I fix it?

    What have you tried already?
    How are you adding citations?
    Do you get an error message?
