Thanks a lot. I can do it now. However when I'm opening some pdf s there is no capture icon or if I rightclick, I don't get Zotero. How to save those PDFs in zotero ? Thanks in advance.
you can attach a PDF from a FF Window to an existing item by right-clicking on that item and selecting Add Attachment --> Attach Snapshot of Current Page.
You can create a PDF item by itself by click "Create New Item from Current Page" with the PDF open in Zotero.
Edit: but see what Aurimas says below - this isn't usually necessary.
Don't go to the actual PDF for adding items to Zotero. Add them from the abstract or HTML full text view. Zotero scrapes metadata from the HTML page, which is not available in most cases when you are viewing PDF
Thanks a lot. I can import the pdfs in zotero now by creating new item from current page. But, I've some stored pdfs in my computer whoch are not available online. Can I get them in zotero ?
Also, is there any way use zotero in the word doc to cite the references as we do it in the endnote ?

This is the worst possible way to import items into Zotero (as far as automatic metadata imports by Zotero go) See http://www.zotero.org/support/quick_start_guide From PubMed you should be seeing the URL bar icon and should be able to import high quality metadata, but it will not currently import PDFs. If you follow a link to the publisher website (PubMed top right of page) you should be able to import even better quality metadata along with PDFs using the URL bar icon. If you open the PDF from the publisher website, you will not be able to import metadata.

You can drag and drop them into Zotero. Once they are in, you can either try to use "Retrieve Metadata" function (right-click on one or multiple PDFs) or, since you say they are not available online, you can right-click and select "create parent item from selected item" and then fill in the appropriate metadata on the right.

Zotero doesn't offer a search in the program itself like Endnote would.
You can create a PDF item by itself by click "Create New Item from Current Page" with the PDF open in Zotero.

Thanks so much, again !
