No Research Assistant

For months Zotero has worked fine. Research Assistant now does not work. Tried reinstalling Zotero. Didn't matter. Searched forums to no avail.

    You need to describe your problem in more detail than stating that "Research Assistant now does not work." What exactly does not work?

    Months ago when I first began using Zotero there was an icon on the bottom left of my screen. Now there is not. Additionally, when I move to a research article (in Amazon, in library materials, etc.), the blue "research assistance" does not appear - hence it is not a simple task to import citation and bibliographic data.

    @maodushd I know that this is the second time someone is asking for more information, but please say more about what you are trying to do and what version of Zotero you are using (FireFox add-on, stand-alone); what browser you are using, etc. What is your operating system?

    I've used Zotero FF and stand-alone with safari, chrome, and firefox under Mac and Windows versions. I don't recall a Zotero-related blue icon at the _lower left_ of my screen.

    I assume s/he means lower right - Gracile's link is a good place to start.

    There is a blue research assistant icon at the lower left within Noodle Tools.

    ah ok - I figured the "blue" there was referring to the book URL bar icon. Let's see who's right ;-)
