alterations MHRA style?

Dear all,

I am playing around with the citation style, but none of them follow the rules set out by my university. Is there a quick way of making your own template for a citation style? My faculty wants more or less the MHRA style, but with the editors of collections before the title of the collection, without the 'pp.' or 'p.', with initials for first names, and definitely with short titles for second citations (my footnotes now only give the author, which is very unhelpful as I use multiple articles by the very same author). I have finally realised just how useful those word plugins are, and would find it a real shame not to be able to join the fun because of strict style regulations! Would anyone be able to help?

best wishes,

Liesbeth
