Safari

I downloaded Zotero Standalone and the Safari extension and I cannot figure out how to get it to work. I have the gray Z to the left of my bar, but it does nothing. I have been unable to find any information on the Zotero site on how to use Zotero with Safari.
Can someone please help me with this?

    See if the icon becomes active on supported sites, e.g.:
    www.amazon.com/Theory-Moral-Sentiments-Adam-Smith/dp/1619491281

    I am not sure what i did, but it seems to be working now with the sites I need them for. Thank you.

    Note that you can save snapshots of non-supported webpages using right-click (ctrl+click) --> Save page as Zotero Snapshot.
