Word plugin inserts bibliography every time I insert citation

Hello Zotero friends,

I have used Zotero for a long time, to organize my references for my dissertation. I just got an upgrade to a better laptop - and I installed Zotero standalone and am using the Word plugin.

Now, every time I insert a citation, a whole bibliography gets inserted right after the citation automatically. I have to undo it, remove the bib, and fix the citation.

I can't for the life of me figure it out. I've searched the forum and documentation, and don't know why this is happening.

    There is likely a leftover from an old bibliography you may have deleted - likely invisible in your document.
    Start by making field codes visible using alt+F9 - see if you can find the extraneous field that would say something with bibliography and delete it - that should get this working.
