Translator for SpringerLink

Hi,

SpringerLink have updated their website. The translator does not work anymore on the new site. Good thing is there is a "Access old SpringerLink" at the top of the page, but I'm sure it won't stay there for long...

Thanks!

For example: http://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007%2F11536482_10?LI=true
  • we've had a translator for the new Springer Link site since a couple of days after it was released.
Is the above the URL exactly as you see it or are you going through a proxy?
If the former, run through these:
    http://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues
if you do go through a proxy, please provide the URL as you see it.
  • Thanks for the answer!

I realized that the small icon appears only in the "page preview" mode in Chrome. When I load the page, I see a PDF preview. At that point, the Zotero icon is visible. When I click on the close button, the icon disappears. It does not disappear on Firefox.

The URL is exactly as it appears in the URL bar at the top of the screen.
  • Aurimas would probably have a better idea on how to troubleshoot this - I'm more of a Firefox person, let's see if he has any insight when he comes by.
  • There is currently a bug in Zotero that results in the Zotero URL bar icon going away when the URL of the page changes without the page being refreshed.

We're working on a fix here. It should probably make it into the next Zotero release.
  • Hi, I have Zotero version 4.0.16, and I do not manage to transfer my search results from Springer to Zotero.

What can I do to transfere my 500 results in Springer to Zotero?
  • What exactly do you mean by "do not manage"? What's happening?
